Serving since 1952
WBRS was founded March 18, 1952 as a volunteer, non-profit ambulance service by eight members of the community.
Since then, we’ve evolved into a full-time Advanced Life Support service with multiple ambulances and a UTV, with a dedicated staff of full-time and part-time EMTs/Paramedics who are always ready to provide life-saving care to our communities.
Currently, we serve the communities of West Brookfield, Hardwick, and New Braintree, MA as their primary 9-1-1 service. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, our mission is largely supported by donations, subscriptions, and fundraising efforts. We strive to provide the highest quality care with the most up-to-date training and equipment.
